GRAND OPENING THIS SUNDAY!!

On JANURARY 6th we will be holding a Grand Opening event at South Mountain CrossFit! 

10am FREE CrossFit Introduction WOD– no experience required

11am FREE Group WOD– CrossFit experience is required

12:30-1pm- KID’s fitness class demo– Ages 5-13, no experience ir required, must pre-register by emailing southmountaincrossfit@gmail.com

Pot- luck lunch!  Please bring your favorite dish, appetizer, or dessert.  SMCF will be supplying beverages.

 We’ll also be holding raffle drawings for discounted memberships, free personal training sessions, fundamentals classes, a 200 lb. kettle bell (just kidding) gear from Under Armour and Schuylkill Valley Sports, and gift cards to Hand and Stone Spa, Reebok, Lululemon, and more.  Come and check out the facility, learn about our sport, participate in or watch the WODs, play some ping-pong, and meet some amazing members of the Lehigh Valley CrossFit community and other local affiliates!

OLYMPIC LIFTING CLASS STARTS JANUARY 12th!

Jake Knight will be leading our Olympic Lifting classes on Saturday from 8am-9am. 

Please talk to a trainer if you have questions about this class and to see if it is appropriate for your skill level.

 

 

 

OPEN GYM STARTS SUNDAY, JANUARY 13th!

Starting January 13th, we will be holding “Open Gym” on Sundays from 10am-2pm.  Open Gym is a time for athletes to catch up on WODs from earlier in the week, work on skills, and of course, to have another excuse to hang out at the box.  Specific rules and guidelines will be posted for all Open Gym attendees soon. 

 

 

COMPETITION PREP CLASSES START JANUARY 14th!

Every Monday and Wednesday evening from 7:30-9pm, we will be holding “Competition Prep” classes for those looking to train more specifically to compete in throw-downs, competitions, and regionals.  The volume, loads, and strength expectations of this class is more demanding than the regularly scheduled group wods.  It is recommended that athletes attending this class are able to complete the majority of programmed SMCF workouts “as prescribed”, RX.  There will be more details to follow.      Please speak to a trainer first before attending your first class.
