ATTENTION OPEN ATHLETES!
If you are planning on completing wod 14.4 for the Open, or re-doing wod 14.4, please read the following:
Athletes competing in the CrossFit Open have the option of completing the wod during Open Gym on Sunday from 10am-12pm. Please note that it is your responsibility to find a judge for your workout. You will also be expected to help other athletes out by judging them in return. We also expect that athletes respect one another. Jumping in a heat when you’re not scheduled or grabbing someone’s equipment they already have set up for themselves is NOT COOL. Each of us feels a little pressure and anxiety with each of these workouts, so please don’t let that turn negative. We’re a family and a community and we’re here to support each other.
Athletes also have the option of completing the wod on Monday. PLEASE NOTE!!! The only times athletes will be allowed to use gym space to complete the wod is from 1pm-4pm, 4pm-5pm, and 7pm-8pm. IF YOU WANT TO COMPLETE THE WOD ON MONDAY YOU ARE REQUIRED TO E-MAIL US AT firstname.lastname@example.org WITH YOUR PREFERRED TIME NO LATER THAN 8pm SUNDAY EVENING. TEXT MESSAGES, FACEBOOK MESSAGES, OR A VERBAL CONVERSATION WITH A TRAINER WILL NOT SECURE YOUR SPOT. You MUST send us an e-mail and await confirmation for your time slot.
Due to the amount of equipment, length, and complexity of the workout, we will be accepting a limited number of requests for each time slot. This is a first come, first serve basis. There will also be limited amount of space for warm-up on Monday since we still run all of the evening classes. That being said, we highly suggest completing the wod during Open Gym on Sunday because you’ll have more room and more time.
