We are excited to announce that South Mountain CrossFit will be offering Summer Fitness Programs for Kids & Teens!

 Our goal is to bring health and fitness to our area’s youth through the CrossFit method designed specifically for the development needs of children and teens.  These SMCF classes are based on a strength and conditioning program tailored for kids and teenagers to help them increase in lean muscle mass, build stronger bones, increase strength, speed and agility at a level appropriate for the growing body.

 Our SMCF program builds self-confidence by helping them develop a lifelong love of health, fitness, and community.

How else can this program benefit your child?  The SMCF Kids and Teens Program:

• instills a lifelong definition of health and positive body image

• reverses prevalent health issues such as obesity

• protects against injury

• creates a community of like-minded individuals for support and self-confidence

• hones life skills such as concentration, problem solving, perseverance, dedication, and goal-setting

 

Summer 2014 schedule:

Kids Classes:  Ages 5-10 years of age

      Session I (June 17th – July 10th):  Tuesday and Thursdays  9am – 10am

      Session II (July 17nd – August 14th): Tuesday and Thursdays 9am – 10am

***No class on Tuesday August 5th and Thursday August 7th***

Middle School  Classes:  11-13 years of age

     Summer  Session (June 16th– August 29th): Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10am – 11am (33 total sessions)

This class is a great off season training for all young athletes and will be a great introduction to CrossFit the NEW sport of fitness.

      ***To cap off the summer session we are going to hold a Middle School Fitness Challenge on Saturday September 6th with prizes for the top three finalists.***

 

Teens Classes:  14-18 years of age

     Summer  Session (June 16th– August 29th): Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10am – 11am (33 total sessions)

This class is a great off season training for all young athletes and will be a great introduction to CrossFit the NEW sport of fitness.

      ***To cap off the summer session we are going to hold a Teens Fitness Challenge on Saturday September 6th with prizes for the top three finalists.***

PRICING:

Kids Classes

$10 for a drop-in class

$75 (current SMCF member price for 1 session) $150 (current SMCF member price for 2 sessions for SMCF kids class)

$85 (non-member price for 1 session) $160 (non-member price for 2 sessions for kids class)

Middle School Classes

$200 for middle school age (11-13)  summer fitness camp which includes their admission into all 22 summer classes and also admission into the end of summer Middle School fitness challenge which includes a t-shirt for competing.

$80 per month for 2x a week pass

Teens Classes

$300 for teense (14-18)  summer fitness camp which includes their admission into all 33 summer classes and also admission into the end of summer High School fitness challenge which includes a t-shirt for competing.

$120 per month for 3x a week pass

*20% family discount applies for multiple children in the same family.

*No additional discounts are applied for the Kid’s and Teen’s Classes.  No refunds are provided.
