Fight Gone Sandy

Former owners of CrossFit 610, Mike and Molly Abgarian, lost most of their personal belongings when Hurricane Sandy swept though Long Beach, New York. In addition to their personal losses, CrossFit King of the Beach also took heavy damage and has yet to re-open its doors, displacing many members.  Once the storm passed, the CrossFit community readily stepped up to take care of their own, and donations of time, labor, and charitable contributions have already been received from Rogue, Again Faster, and other affiliates to help Mike & Molly (and the many others who experienced the wrath of Sandy), get back on their feet.

Mike and Molly were instrumental in spreading CrossFit throughout the Lehigh Valley while they were here, and anyone involved with CrossFit knows that the organization and the members of it pride themselves on being a large extended family. With that in mind, South Mountain CrossFit, in conjunction with CrossFit BWI and CrossFit Syndicate, will be hosting “Fight Gone Sandy” to benefit Mike, Molly, and the members of CrossFit King of the Beach on Saturday, December 15th. We hope you will come together with us to help them rebuild their gym and their lives.

The workout is free but with a $30 donation, you will receive a “Fight Gone Sandy” t-shirt.

To sign up, please go here: Fight Gone Sandy and then send us an email at southmountaincrossfit@gmail.com once you have signed up with the t-shirt size you selected.
